North Korea, calm your tits.

In the event of threats issued by the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (AKA North Korea), my travel agent urged me to purchase my travel insurance immediately, otherwise I would be screwed if anything happened before I get the chance to take out travel insurance.

Now that I have officially purchased travel insurance with Flight Centre, I can now have a peace of mind, especially that I have the world’s most amazing travel agent who will endeavour that I go to Europe nevertheless 🙂

Upon receiving advice from my travel agent, I knew of a couple of people who had booked their flights but not yet purchased travel insurance – I immediately urged them to get it ASAP.

I’m actually excited about exploring Seoul for a bit during my 19 hour layover. I still haven’t decided if I should stay at Hyatt Incheon the whole time, or just check in and drop off my shit and then go into the city and explore for a bit. If you have done a layover in Seoul, what would you suggest?

If you are planning on visiting South Korea in the near future, I suggest you to purchase travel insurance at the same time as booking your flights. It would be quite silly if something happened before you get the chance to purchase travel insurance. I’ve been lucky the last two times I went overseas, but this time around, I’m acting upon my travel agent’s advice. Better be safe than sorry, hey!

I’m keeping an close eye on news developments regarding DPRK and South Korea. I have a feeling that they’re all talk, so here’s hoping!!

Peace out,

S xo
